Any plans for March 2026?

Be Tikka Banda for a Day isn’t something you watch.

It’s something you step into.

A hands-on street band experience where practice turns into performance, and public space becomes the stage with the audience already there, walking past, stopping, smiling, reacting.

If the usual concert hall, workshop or masterclass setup feels too controlled, too predictable, or too distant… this is the opposite.

Ready for Band?

On Saturday 7th March 2026, Be Tikka Banda for a Day puts you inside the Tikka Banda setup from the first note.

You rehearse.

You connect.

You play.

You perform… in real, open public space.

The day is led by guest conductor Roderick Bugeja, shaping the band’s sound, pace, and collective energy as it builds towards a full outdoor performance.

What actually happens on the day

When: Saturday, 7th March 2026 | 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Where: Ta’ Qali National Park

This is for:

  • Anyone curious to feel how Tikka Banda actually works from the inside

A day built around music, people, and public space

Be Tikka Banda for a Day is created by Tikka Banda and supported by VisitMalta. While the band experience sits at the heart of the day, the wider event is open, family-friendly, and designed to be enjoyed by everyone on site.

This year also marks the first appearance of our newest member, Tikkinu. The event unfolds across multiple spaces, with Tikkini Music Sessions, outdoor music games, street art, and catering happening throughout. A musical supporting act leads into the final open-air concert, bringing the day together in a shared, welcoming atmosphere.

Exclusive merch will be waiting.
