Be Tikka Banda for a Day puts you right into the Tikka Banda setup. It’s a hands-on band experience where you rehearse, connect with other musicians, and perform together in real public space. The focus is on building full-band energy and playing the feel-good Tikka Banda repertoire as the music goes straight to the people. The day is led by guest conductor Roderick Bugeja, guiding rehearsals and performance while shaping the band’s sound and energy.

Tikkini Music Sessions
Tikkini Music Sessions are a fun, hands-on and interactive music experience for young adventurers, delivered in three age groups (3 – 5, 5 – 7, and 7 – 10). The sessions take place during Be Tikka Banda for a Day at the Art Space in Ta’ Qali National Park. Through instruments, voice, rhythm, and movement, children explore music through play, sound, and discovery.

Be Tikka Banda for a Day is created by Tikka Banda and supported by VisitMalta for this year’s edition. Alongside the main experience, the event is family-friendly and open to the general public, with activities designed for families, friends, and accompanying guests. The day also features a musical supporting act leading into the final open-air concert. Expect outdoor music games, street art, catering, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
